Follow these easy steps and treat your squishy like the superstar it is.

Step 1: Wash Your Hands

Before you touch your squishy—go wash those hands!

Why?

Hands have oils, dirt, crumbs, and mystery grease

All of that can stick to your squishy

Clean hands = squishy stays fresh, soft, and pretty

Just a little soap and water will do the trick!

Step 2: Keep It Cozy (If You Want To)

We highly recommend keeping your squishy in its packaging when playing with it.

Why?

Keeps out dust, hair, and air particles

Helps preserve color and softness

Makes it last longer

BUT... it’s your squishy!

So if you wanna pop it out and squish to your heart’s content—do it!

We just love giving it a cute little home to rest in.📦✨💤

Step 3: Be Gentle

Squishies are soft, slow-rising, and super delicate—especially the extra soft ones.

The softer the squishy is, the more carefully you should treat it. So no Rough Play

Think of it like whipped cream vs. a cookie—one needs a little more love.

And then we’ve got the clear gel squishies...

They’re made with premium high-quality clear silicone gel

They look stunning but they’re honestly a little high-maintenance

They’re super delicate, hard to unmold, and they show dirt faster

Even the tiniest speck of dust looks huge inside a clear squishy

They’re more expensive to make and clean

And yep—we only offer them in limited quantities because they’re kind of Bougie Divas

We still LOVE them (and you might too!)—just know they require a little extra squishy care.☁️✨⚠️💎

Step 4: How to Clean It

If your squishy gets a little dirty (hello, floor fuzz), don’t worry—it just needs a gentle refresh!

Here’s how to do it:

Soak your squishy in warm, soapy water for 5 to 10 minutes

We recommend using mild dish soap—it’s gentle and works great

Avoid bleach, chlorine, or strong cleaners

After soaking, rinse with clean water

Pat dry with a soft towel

Let it air dry completely in a clean space

BUT heads up—once it’s dry, it might feel sticky again!

That’s totally normal for soft silicone squishies.

Step 5: Fluff It Up at Home

Sticky squishy? No big deal!

Here are some easy at-home fluffing tricks to make it feel soft and smooth again:

Option 1: Baby Powder

Lightly dust your squishy with unscented baby powder

Rub it in with your fingers

Wipe off any extra powder

Option 2: Cornstarch

Works like baby powder

Just a tiny sprinkle will help reduce tackiness

The Pro Secret at Squishie Bakery:

We use Floofy Powder (aka: flocking powder!) to give our squishies that soft, velvety finish.

It’s magical but very messy, so we don’t recommend using it at home unless you wear a mask 😷

Step 6: Store It Right

Wanna make your squishy last forever?

Here’s how to store it like a squishy pro:

Keep it in a cool, dry place

Avoid sunlight (sun can fade or dry it out!)

Don’t stack heavy stuff on top

Use the PVC bag it came in to keep it fresh

Returns & Cleanliness: Why It Matters

We do accept returns—but only if the squishy is:

Unopened

Still in its original packaging

Clean and unused

Once a squishy is opened, it’s exposed to:

Hair, Dust, Skin oils, Air particles

If we receive a squishy back that’s sticky, dirty, or handled—we can’t refund or resell it.

But if we made a mistake?

We’ll make it right

If your squishy is out of stock, we’ll contact you before sending anything else

We’ll always over-deliver if it was our fault

Each squishy is handmade, so small color or texture differences are totally normal. That’s what makes them special! 📦💖🧼

 We do our best to ensure every product brings joy, comfort, and Sweet Sensory Relief. But if something’s off with your order, don’t panic—we’ve got a fair return process.

You may request a return within 7 business days of delivery. Just send us a message at info@squishybakery.com with your order number, reason for return, and a few photos or a video if your item arrived damaged.

No Free Returns: We do not offer free returns. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect due to our error.

Cancellations After Shipping: If your order has already shipped, any incurred shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Changed Your Mind?: For returns due to personal preferences (e.g., you didn’t like the scent, color, or squish feel), the buyer is responsible for shipping the item back. Refunds will only be processed once the item is received in its original, unused condition.

Discounts & Free Shipping Offers: If you received a discount or free shipping, your refund will reflect a deduction of that value (based on the actual shipping cost we covered for you).
